Such an incredible hotel! My husband and I had a long debate about whether we should stay at The Clan or a well known hotel in the Marina Bay area.... I lost the debate and oh my I am so glad I did. The Clan is an exceptional hotel, the motto is amazing "a home from home" and certainly fulfilled its ethos. Every member of staff we encountered was lovely, warm and incredibly attentive. The bed was so comfortable and the pool is calm and a wonderful spot to watch the sunset. The little touches were so kind and we are planning at return in the airport already. Thank you so much!

The hotel is in a great location - great access to MRT. Given the price & 5 star rating, would have expected a better experience. The electrical wall plate kept falling off the wall, housekeeping never replaced the coffee creamers, the privacy curtains over the big windows don’t completely shut w/o great effort. We ran into a lot of guests (especially elderly) who could figure out the high tech elevator key card system. We would have preferred an orientation to the awkward tea ceremony which they impose on you. Breakfast sets you back 36 bucks including tax. Rough edges on this place for the high dollar rates.
